Structure
  • We use A-Grade mild steel to build the structure of the Greenhouse Tunnel.
  • Galvanizing your structure is an option as well.
  • Our structures are specially designed for ideal ventilation and climate control.
Plastic
  • We use 200 micron plastic to cover our Greenhouse Tunnels
  • The film contains special UV stabilizers with improved chemical resistance compared to standard stabilizers
  • The light diffusion allows plants to receive a more even distribution of light during the day
  • The anti-fog additives prevents dripping onto the plants and light transmission deduction.
Crop Support
  • Main lines constructed from 5mm fully galvanized cables with sub-lines spanning the length of the tunnel constructed from 2.24mm galvanized wire.
  • This assists in maximsng your crop growth by supporting it in a vertical manner.
Hail Protection
  • Hail protection is optional although will be beneficial to your investment. We use a 20% shade net to neatly cover the structure in order to protect the plastic from hail damage.
Irrigation
  • Avoid the hassle of getting different quotations to start your Greenhouse Tunnel. We supply and install irrigation systems - from dripper lines, reservoirs to solar panel pump stations.
  • Irrigation is optional when investing in a Greenhouse Tunnel.
Gates
  • Swing gate with latch
  • Sliding gate with latch
Guarantee
  • Alpha Shades offers a 5 year workmanship guarantee and maintenance on existing structures
